지금 30-40대라도 다들 아바의 추억이 있을 것이다..

솔직히, 어릴 땐 내가 깡촌에 살았는지라 아바가 누구인지도 몰랐었다.

한참이 지나서야 그때 그 음악이 바로 이들이 부른 노래구나 했으니깐..

그리고 마침내 그들의 사진을 처음 접하게 되었을 때..헐~

 

아니..

이 촌스러운 복장은 뭐여? ㅋㅋ

하지만..

하지만 말이다..

그들의 노래를 듣고 있노라면,

 절대, 절대로 촌스럽다는 말을 하지는 못하리라..

어릴때 그렇게 자주 흥얼거렸던 모든 노래들이 바로 그들이 부른 노래였으니깐..

ABBA  1970년대의 팝을 대표하는 팀 아바는 각 멤버 이름 첫 글자를 조합한 팀명으로, 각자 활동하던 비요른 울바에우스(Björn Ulvaeus)와 베니 안데르손(Benny Andersson) 두 남성 멤버들의 만남에서 시작되었다. 비요른과 베니가 처음 만나 함께 작업을 시작하던 그 무렵 베니는 프리다(Anni-Frid Lyngstad)와, 비요른은 아녜타(Agnetha Faltskog)와 사랑에 빠지게 되었고, 1970년 봄 이들 두 쌍이 나란히 약혼을 하며 사랑과 음악을 함께 하는 사이가 되었다. 공식 첫 히트 싱글 'People Need Love'를 시작으로 활동을 시작하여, 'Mamma Mia', 'Dancing Queen', 'Gimme! Gimme!
