중화전 The Hall of Middle Harmony

 

 

보화전 앞  in front of the Hall of Preserving Harmony

 

 

삼만필석. 하나의 돌로 만들어진 것입니다.

 이 돌은 시안근처에서 부터 옮겨 왔다고 하는데,

 삼만마리 말이 죽었다고 해서 삼만필석이라고 하더이다.

 

 

사자상입니다. 암컷이라고 하네요..

그 이유는 밟고 있는게 새끼라고 하네요..

  

 

어경정, 밑에 돌은 남해석

Pavilion of Imperial Landscape above the Hill of Collecting Excellence.  The artificial hill was built on April 17, 1583 after the dismantling of the Hall of Looking at Flowers, which used to stand here.  Each year on the Double Ninth Festival (the 9th day of the 9th lunar month) the emperor, empress, and concubines ascended this pavilion to enjoy the view.
